The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL). They play in the National Football Conference (NFC) East division. 

History: 

The team was founded in 1932 as the Boston Braves

The team moved to Washington, D.C. in 1937

The team was called the Redskins until 2020

The team was called the Washington Football Team from 2020 to 2022

The team became the Washington Commanders in 2022

Home games: 

The team plays home games at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland

Training facility and headquarters: 

The team's headquarters and training facility is the OrthoVirginia Sports Performance Center in Loudoun County, Virginia

Notable achievements:

The team has won two NFL Championships (1937 and 1942) 

The team has won three Super Bowls (1982, 1987, and 1991) 

The team has won 15 NFL divisional titles and five NFL conference championships
