NFL ( NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE )

NFL stands for National Football League, which is the main professional American football league in the United States and Canada. The NFL is the highest level of professional football in the world. 

The NFL is made up of 32 teams that are split evenly between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL season begins with a three-week preseason in August, followed by the regular season, which runs from early September to early January. 

The NFL was originally called the American Professional Football Association (APFA), which was formed in 1920 by ten football teams that gathered in Canton, Ohio.
