History
The Chiefs were founded in 1960 by Lamar Hunt as the Dallas Texans, a charter member of the American Football League (AFL). In 1963, the team moved to Kansas City and became the Chiefs.

The Chiefs have won four Super Bowls:
Super Bowl IV: In 1970, the Chiefs became the second AFL team to defeat an NFL team in a Super Bowl, beating the Minnesota Vikings.
Super Bowl LIV: In 2020, the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-20.
Super Bowl LVII: In 2023, the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.
Super Bowl LVIII: In 2024, the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.

The Chiefs' logo is an interlocking "KC" inside a white arrowhead, surrounded by a black outline. Hunt was inspired by the "SF" inside an oval on the San Francisco 49ers helmets.
