The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL). They play in the National Football Conference (NFC) West division. 

History:
The Seahawks joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team 
They won Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014, defeating the Denver Broncos 43–8 
They've also won three NFC championships, in 2006, 2014, and 2015 

Home field: 
The Seahawks play their home games at Lumen Field in downtown Seattle
The stadium was previously called Seahawks Stadium, Qwest Field, and CenturyLink Field

Fans: 
The Seahawks fans are known as the "12s" or the "12th Fan"
The fans set the Guinness World Record for the loudest crowd noise at a sporting event twice

Community support: 
The Seahawks support nearly 2,500 charities in the Pacific Northwest
They support community programs in areas like youth empowerment, social justice, and the military community
