Indianapolis Colts

 

The Indianapolis Colts are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL). They play in the American Football Conference (AFC) South division. 

History:

The Colts were originally called the Baltimore Colts and were founded in 1953. 

They moved to Indianapolis in 1984. 

The Colts have won three NFL championships (1958, 1959, 1968) and two Super Bowls (1971, 2007). 

Stadium: 

The Colts play their home games at Lucas Oil Stadium.

They previously played at the RCA Dome from 1984–2007.

Notable players: 

Peyton Manning: Led the Colts to success after joining in 1998.

Johnny Unitas: Led a formidable offense in the late 1950s.

Jim Parker: A future Hall of Fame tackle.

Raymond Berry: A future Hall of Fame end.

Lenny Moore: A future Hall of Fame halfback.
