Green Bay Packers

 

The Green Bay Packers are a football team in the National Football League (NFL). They are based in Green Bay, Wisconsin and play their home games at Lambeau Field. 

History: 

Founded in 1919 by Curly Lambeau, a shipping clerk at the Indian Packing Company

Joined the NFL in 1921

The third-oldest franchise in the NFL

Ownership:

The only fan-owned team in the four major professional leagues in the United States 

A publicly owned corporation and nonprofit entity 

Owned by a community-based group of shareholders 

Achievements: 

13 NFL championships, including four Super Bowls

Twice won three straight league crowns, in 1929-1931 and 1965-67

Known as "Titletown USA"
