Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions are a professional American football team that plays in the National Football League (NFL). They play in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division and their home games are at Ford Field in Detroit.
History
The Lions were founded in 1928 in Portsmouth, Ohio as the Portsmouth Spartans
They joined the NFL in 1930
The team moved to Detroit in 1934 and changed their name to the Lions
They won four NFL championships between 1935 and 1957
They have never played in a Super Bowl
