The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division of the National Football League (NFL). The Bears are one of the NFL's most successful franchises and have won nine NFL championships, including one Super Bowl. 

History:

The Bears were founded in Decatur, Illinois in 1919 and moved to Chicago in 1921 
The Bears played at Wrigley Field until 1970, and have played at Soldier Field since then 
The Bears are one of only two charter member franchises from the NFL's founding in 1920 
The Bears' oldest rivalry is with the Arizona Cardinals 

Achievements:

The Bears have won nine NFL championships, including one Super Bowl in 1986 
The Bears have the most members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame 
The Bears have the most retired jersey numbers 
The Bears have the second most overall victories and NFL championships, behind the Green Bay Packers
