Baltimore Ravens

 

The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL). They play in the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. 

History:

The Ravens were established in 1996 

The team's name comes from Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven" 

The Ravens were originally the Cleveland Browns, but the franchise moved to Baltimore after owner Art Modell negotiated a deal 

The Ravens' first draft pick was linebacker Ray Lewis 

The Ravens won Super Bowl XXXV in 2000 and Super Bowl XLVII in 2012

Purple, black, and metallic gold

Poe, a costumed mascot

The Ravens play their home games at M&T Bank Stadium
